How to Play Spider (1 Suit)
In Spider, the goal isn't to build foundations by suit like in Klondike, but to assemble complete runs from king down to ace inside the tableau columns. Once a run is complete, it's automatically cleared from the table. The 1-suit version is the friendliest starting difficulty: every card shares the same suit, so you can focus on the logic of your moves.
- A card, or a valid sequence, can be placed on a card one rank higher.
- Any card or assembled group can be moved onto an empty column.
- Dealing from the stock adds one new card to each of the 10 columns at once.
- Under standard rules, you can't deal a new row while any column is empty — fill it first.
